Recording
« on: October 19, 2008, 01:43:06 pm »
Last week I bought the Reloop Spin and everything is working good, but I cannot find out how to easely record my mix.

With Reloop Spin I can record both turntables seperately, but not together and without the influeces from the mixer!?
(In Virtual DJ however I can easely record my mix with just 1 record button, they made for it.)

I tried it with Audacity, but it is not possible recording with this program when Reloop Spin or Virtual DJ is open.. something is wrong than with the input :s

Somebody with the same problem or even better with a solution?? Thanks

Use an external recording device and plug it to your mixer, this shoudn't be too difficult.  ;)

Im using Soundforge to record my mixes but then at the same time i have 2 soundcards in that comp meaning the reloop-spin for playback  ofc :P and record whit my (other soundcard) M-Audio Delta to record .
Other option would be playback whit my laptop and record whit my PC .
For does that dont have 2 comps i recomend connecting your mixer to a stereo or something to record ..
Good luck guys ...peace

I hang my mp3 player (it is one with a line input)on the record output of my mixer. When you do it like this you don't need a record software on your computer. that means you can play spin at full speed  ;)

you need to record the line in signal, get sure you selected that one for the recording part of your audio devices.

Gm4n  -  I have Sound Blaster X-fi Platinum chempion edition    and I have normal  aux-in in front panel so I can plug chinch cable to record of mixer and sound quality is very good, try something like this setup.

External recording solutions are always better if you have an external mixing device.

Win 7 Home Premium (32 bit)

Motherboard: MSI / Graphics: ATI

Reloop Hardware:

Yes, this could be the reason. Some onboard solutions do have a very poor quality if you want to record the input signal of LINE IN.

ok, so if i want to record the spin interface that is working on my laptop i will need to buy a sound card for my desktop pc?
what card do i need for that ? is a standard sound card like this : http://paradigit.com/info.php?group=3&art=10019597   enough ?

Greetz!

The card is ok, but if you want to have a bit more quality, try this one:
