sound quality spin
« on: December 06, 2008, 02:37:52 pm »
I hear a BIG difference when I play a song on my RPM2 cd players and the same song with Spin!
Spin has too much low frequencies in the sound. I must adjust the mixer eq to level this.

I can't find EQ settings in Spin.
Is the cardridge I use ( tonar banana's ) an isue?

dont think youre the brightest are you, how could the cardridge have anything to do with the sound when it only reads a beeping signal.

unless you use the bypass function, which is fucked up and sounds horrible (thats why im on this forum today anyways)

download the mp3 in my topic (also in this area) and see if its the same problem

Its just a quistion about the cardridge, I know this was a thing with the early versions from Final Scratch ( I know one of the guys who invented and programed FS ) And I am smart enough, your anwser is more stupid than my question.

If you want to know how smart I am, this is what I do for living: www.bambamstudio.com ( yes studio is mine, I am a pro producer and DJ for over 20 years )

I have the same problem here... low frequencies are to high, without adjusting the eq's there's way to much bass.
anyone has an idea?

Did you connect the Interface Outputs to the LINE Inputs of the mixer?

The sound volume is way to low, I own 2 rmp2 cd players, when I load the same mp3 into Spin! and into the rmp, the sound level difference is over 50% lower in Spin! (with Spin! on FULL gain, mexer gain, output and fader to the max, and the soundcard volume setting in XP to the max ) as the rmp. It seens that the output from the spin soundcard is to low.

How can I fix this problem?

did you increase both Master Volumes at the top of the software?
