I was referred to the forums regarding my techincal problem - hope you can help.
I have a DJ 2 IE running on Windows XP with an SB Live! soundcard and Traktor LE. It has previously been working fine, however I started noticing that the Piano midi keyboard effects were triggered by the DJ2 IE when using Traktor. This problem was intermittent and not obviously fixed - the audio settings in the control panel claimed they were using the SB Live!.
Now however, I can rarely get the DJ2IE to work at all.
About a third of the time windows does not seem to detect that that the DJ2IE is present and does not show it as present within the Device Manager. Sometimes Windows detects the DJ2 IE after about 5mins of waiting and sometimes not at all.
When it does show the device as being present, I can rarely if at all get Traktor LE to respond to it. I can sometimes get Traktor LE to play tracks when using the mouse, but even this is intermittent.
I have installed the ASIO driver several times (although this often fails to work as it cannot detect the DJ2 IE). I have run the Traktor setup wizard. I have tried removing my SB Live! soundcard and it makes no difference!
Please help - this is an immensely frustrating problem!
