Ampire D1080 detailed specs

I'm interested in the Ampire D1080 but the specs on the website are rather sparse and the manual doesn't seem to be available for download. I wanted to know if the power ratings given are RMS continuous or a different measure (and if so, what), and whether it will run bridged into 4 ohms. Could anybody help?

In bridged mode (use operation selector on the back), it'll have 1 x 1080W (8 Ohm, mono-bridged).
The loudspeaker resistance during this operation mode must not fall below 8 Ohm and must not exceed 16 Ohm!
