Digital Disc Jockey 3

Hi there,

A friend of mine who is new to DJing picked up a Disc Jokey 3 yesterday and I had a go on it. Although the unit looks very beautiful and is well made and sturdy feeling the jogwheels are awful!. I have actually ordered one for myself but have now cancelled the order. I found it almost impossible to mix with the disc jockey 3. I tried adjusting the sensitivities at the back of the mixer and the sides but nothing helped. I am a seasoned DJ and have used a fair amount of equipment but I found this unit to be UNUSABLE because of the jogwheels and made mixing a drag rather than enjoyable. I also found reviews and posts online related to exactly the same issues:

My question is: Does Reloop have any intention of rectifying this problem? If not, then full refunds must be given as this unit is currently useless because of this issue.

I think you have to update your firmware/mapping.

The important thing for a good scratch performance is to adjust the jog wheel resolution. Pleae read carefully.

Mappings and firmware have been improved and even without that the Jockey is a great product with lots of features. Full refunds of money is not proportional to the issue you might have....

PLEASE try the updates first and judge then!
