Reloop Mixage Interface Edition is freezing. NEED HELP !!

my Reloop Mixage Interface Edition is freezing up, at random times. Its not the laptop or the traktor freezing its the controller its self. No buttons work and have to turn controller off and on to solve the problem.   Laptop=intel pentium processor T4500 and 3GB RAM/ Traktor= scratch pro 2 (please dont tell me that the controller doesnt work with scratch pro 2 because i have seen lots of people using it and people are having the same problem with different traktor versions) thanks

i also have mixage ie with scr pro2.there are 2 reasons of freezing!first,change the usb cable,second,go to contr manager,and check to device setup,if mixage is confirmed,and also the outport and import must show mixage ie.

I have just checked in device setup and this is what have    Device = Mixage IE Pro-Generic Midi (all ports,all ports)                In port = all ports           out port = all ports           How long have you being running it with a different cable with out it freezing up on you again ?

i have the same problem with my mixage!!  it freezes randomly and i have to turn it of and on for it to work again.

also in the control manager i have it in mixage ie pro generic all port because there is no option to change the ports to other position.

any suggestions to fix it!!??

Did you change usb cable? Just to make sure...

yes!!  i used the cable that comes with te rellop and i bought a new one with golden ends with no results!!coud it be that it needs a power cable because many customers are having the same problem?

Hi,
I am having exactly the same problem. When the device freezes, I notice that the "MIDI" led is constantly on.
I also use the USB cable that was included in the box of the Reloop Mixage IE device.
I didn't try using an alternative AC power cable, because that wasn't included in the box and I don't know where to get one. (All European web shops I tried did not have this cable for sale).
Please help me. With this issue unsolved I cannot use the device professional.

Guys,

there is no 'power cable'. In case if you want to power your Mixage you would need an external power supply.

Maybe in your case it would help to power the Mixage via an external power supply. It could be that your USB ports don´t deliver enough power. Do you have anything else connected to your USB ports?

Ehm Reloop_Dave,
the Reloop Mixage Interface Edition device has clearly a opening in de backside for a power cable. See the left-most opening of this image:

Also the manual states in the troubleshooting section that if the device does not get enough power, you have to connect the power adapter. But this adapter is not included in the box.
Where can we get such power adapter?
Please help us to deal with this issue!

I KNOW!!! But as I said it´s not for a cable! It´s for a power supply with an attached cable! You cannot plug high voltage into your controller...

Can we get it from Reloop, or is any other power supply with the correct voltage/amperage sufficient?

Thank you for that website. I've just sent them an e-mail with my question to purchase such a power supply.

For your information:
In the manual of the device can be read "Power Supply: DC6V, 1.5A (9w)".
But the USB port of my computer is 5V, 500mA; because this is a standard USB 2.0 port.
My computer has no other USB ports than these, meaning that my USB port would never be sufficient to power the device.
