Iq2 MIDI driver problem
« on: December 10, 2011, 08:00:20 am »
Hi Team

I just bought the IQ2 MIDI mixer and followed step by step the quick installation guide to install it on my laptop with the driver supplied with IQ2 midi (version: 2.9.15).
 - HP Elitebook 8530p / Windows 7 32bit
 - Disabled onboard audio devices
The installation was successful. The IQ2 MIDI devices works perfectly with the Traktor software.

I have two problems:

1,  There is no sound in the operating system.

2, I cant' use virtual Dj software.
The error message is a following:
Error in the ASIO sound driver. Your soundcard is probably not connected, or the settings are incorrect.
I installed ASIO4all driver. The asio driver status is "Beyond Logic". I cant use this.

I couldln't find any answers on google about this.

thanks

Hi Reloop Team,

Can someone help me?
The Windows 7 32 bit ASIO driver does not work. This is my experience with other Laptops.

Many thanks

Hi Team,

This IQ2 MIDI Asio driver does not work under windows7 64 bit.
ASIO driver is not good.

Reloop Support = 0

Please paint it on the IQ2MIDI front panel: "Traktor ONLY !!!"

I become happy to get rid of it.

Hi Csibuk,

I'm sorry to say but we're still working on that. The problem occures with some of the newer VirtualDJ versions. I'll keep you up to date.

Thank You for your answer

The device was disappointing.
 - No driver for windows7
 - The microfone talk-over feature is comical
I will take back to the store.

The 'Talk Over' works more like a 'Music Mute'. ;)

Find the driver here:

Yes, this is the latest driver.
I tried this.
I Can't use virtual DJ sw under win 7 32 and 64 bit, and there is no sound in the operating system.

Thanks

Are you able to select the IQ within Virtual DJ in the audio setup? Thanks...

Im using RMX-40USB with win 7 Ultimate x64 SP1, can I use Reloop_IQ2_MIDI_X64_2.9.15  driver to send a MIDI clock signal to my pc as I want to use with Resolume Avenue 3.3.1 to VJ?

When I install the driver it says device is ready to use on the task bar but the application says

Unfortunately the installation failed
(Error: timeout - 0x0005)

I can see the UAC3556B Generic USB Audi drivers installed in device manager.
