Mixage IE and Shift button

Hi, just bought the mixage IE and can't figure out how to get the shift button to "stay on". Do i have to hold it or is there a way to have it toggle on/off ?? using tractor 2 pro

There is a toggle switch on the back of your controller, its labelled shift lock on/off

Sometimes it would help to read the attached manual instead of asking other people! 8)
